Motorists warned of delays

THE NZ Transport Agency says Dunedin road users should expect short delays when travelling on State Highway 88 next week.

Contractors will be carrying out investigative works on the road shoulder, between the Finch St intersection and Huia St from 9am until 3pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.

During the work, the eastbound lane will be closed, and stop/go traffic management and a 30kmh speed restriction will be in place.

Traffic would be monitored to minimise delays, an agency spokeswoman said.
