Australia helping Tonga
Sydney: The Australia Government is spending $A10.5 million
($NZ11.2 million) to help Tonga’s cyclone reconstruction efforts.
The cyclone occurred in mid-February, damaging 4000 homes and leaving 60,000 people without electricity.
The additional assistance will help restore infrastructure such as schools and water supplies and support farmers who lost crops.
