14strong NZ team named

Cycling: A 14strong team has been named by Cycling New Zealand to contest the UCI Junior World Track Cycling Championships in Switzerland in August.

The squad features Invercargill endurance rider Corbin Strong, who was part of the team pursuit that won the bronze medal last year. He is the Oceania under19 omnium, points and Madison champion.

Fellow Invercargill rider SophieLeigh Bloxham has been named in the women’s

sprint team.
