Allwheel drive X2 joins the fray

BMW has decided to include an allwheel drive version of its X2 sports activity vehicle for the New Zealand market after all.

The twomodel range has been expanded to include the xDrive20i — an allwheeldrive version of the 141kW/280N sDrive20i that featured in Drivesouth last weekend.

The new addition carries a $73,900 price tag, a $3000 premium over its frontwheeldrive equivalent.

The xDrive20i is scheduled for April production, which should mean first deliveries to Kiwi customers in June.
