Art auction, 7pm, Saturday April 21, at Carey’s Bay Historic Hotel
YOU are invited to view the wonderful collection of artworks on display now for the Port Chalmers United Rowing Club art auction.
The artists, both well established and new talent, have presented delightful works in a wide range of mediums that have already begun to attract a lot of attention.
If you are unable to make the journey to the hotel, some of the works can be viewed on the hotel’s Facebook page. For those who are unable to attend the auction, absentee bids are an option, and the relevant forms will be available at the bar. Phone bids can also be arranged.
The auction will be held in the covered courtyard, and will be relayed through the television screens in the bar, where spotters will be on hand to make sure all bids in this area are recorded.
Your participation on the day is looked forward to.
Once again, the club is extremely lucky to have broadcaster and local identity Dougal Stevenson as auctioneer, combining with local character Bill Brown.
