Temporary road closures

(Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974)

Vegetation removal – Newington Avenue Newington Avenue, between Hamel Street and Mercy Hospital lower service entrance, is closed to through traffic until 5.30pm on Friday, 4 May for the above work. Residential access will be available from each end of the closure. Please follow the signposted detour route. Otago Sports Car Club Hillclimb Event – George King Memorial Drive George King Memorial Drive, approximately between Craiglea and Mount Hyde Roads, will be closed from 9am to 5pm on Sunday, 29 April for the above event. The road will be opened periodically to allow resident access.

Queens Drive improvements Queens Drive, between 508 Queens Drive and City Road, will be closed to through traffic from Monday, 30 April to Friday, 15 June, from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday for the above work. Detours will be in place and residential access will be available. Transportation road works for the period 30 April – 4 May Please go to www.dunedin.govt.nz/roadworks for all notifications of the above work.
