New-generation heatpumps popular at The Heating Company

-

AT The Heating Company, this time of year is fullon heatpump season, Dunedin owner John Bayne says.

As arguably the cheapest, easiest, and most efficient source of heating, heatpumps remain incredibly popular in the South. Over the past year, The Heating Company has had a lot of success promoting a new generation of products, featuring the more efficient and ozonefriendly R32 refrigerant.

These heatpumps offer numerous advantages, including using less electricity to run due to a higher critical temperature, which means greater efficiency.

R32 is far more environmentally friendly, with zero ozonedepleting potential, and globalwarming potential about onethird that of the earlier R410A refrigerant.

Due to these factors, the government levy on the refrigerant is lower, meaning that the heatpumps are priced very well.

Other recent advances in heatpump technology include WiFi capabilities that mean you can operate them from anywhere, occupancy sensors that change the setting depending on your activity, and even sunlight sensors that adjust the temperature.

With products from Panasonic, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi Electric, and others, The Heating Company will work with you to find the perfect heatpump model, size, and location for your home. To book your free appointment with Chris or John, call (03) 4553333 now.

The Heating Company also supplies other heating solutions.
