Petrol station upgrade

Palmerston: Z Energy at Palmerston is expected to reopen early in August, when work to upgrade the State Highway 1 service station that started on June 5 is scheduled for completion. Steel fuel tanks that are no longer fit for purpose are being replaced with doublewalled fibreglass tanks and the canopy increased in height so larger vehicles can access the station’s forecourt more easily.

A payatpump feature was also being installed, a Z Energy spokeswoman said.
