Rockin’ good time . . .

Sisters Ava (14) and Isla Stewart (9), of the Sunshine Coast, Australia, stop in to check out some of Malcolm Luxton’s collection of agate and petrified wood from Canterbury at the 47th annual North Otago Rock and Mineral Club Gemstone, Jewellery and Craft Fair in the Scottish Hall in Tyne St, Oamaru, on Sunday.

North Otago Rock and Mineral Club president Karen Aitken said 20 stallholders from around the South Island drew good crowds at the twoday event.

On Saturday, 350 adults came through the doors and by noon yesterday 150 had come through for a look.

Children were not counted at the door.
