Mixed results for South

THE Dunedin and Invercargill teams each had a win and a loss to open the national under19 tournament in Tauranga yesterday.

Dunedin began with a 4623 win over Selwyn in the morning, before falling 2621 against Manawatu last night. Invercargill was wellbeaten by Auckland 5018 in the morning, but responded with a 3534 win over Eastern Waikato.

Both sides have mustwin matches today if they are to make the top eight.
