Turner finishes fifthequal

QUEENSTOWN golfer Greg Turner finished fifthequal at the Swiss Senior Open in Bad Ragaz yesterday.

Turner finished three shots behind winner JeanFrancois Remesy, of France, after he had led the tournament in the first round.

He hit a 65 on the first day and shared the lead with two others only to drop back on the second day following a 71.

He finished with an encouraging 66 on the last day to have 202 for the tournament.

With the top10 finish, Turner has moved up to be 25th on the European Senior Tour order of merit.

He has played four tournaments and won just under ¤26,000.
