Targa Rally to be raced in the South

Motorsport: The Targa Rally is set to provide five days of highoctane action for Otago and Southland fans.

The event will be staged in the two provinces from October 2327. It starts in Invercargill before moving to Dunedin and finishing in Queenstown.

Racers will battle it out in competition and tour car categories, and for the first time a vintage category has been added. The race is made up of 600km of special stages and 1400km of touring stages.

Glenn Inkster and codriver, Spencer Winn, have been the allcomers winners of the previous four editions of the rally.
