Men lose, women win at U18 tourney

Hockey: Southern men had a loss but the women managed a win at the national under18 tournament in Dunedin yesterday.

Midlands beat the Southern men’s side 21 in their last game of pool play. The women won 31 in a shootout against Capital after the teams failed to score during regulation time.

Players will enjoy a rest day before the tournament continues tomorrow.
