Theatre lighting takes centre stage

It was part of an interactive workshop on theatre, offered yesterday morning, as part of the New Zealand International Science Festival.
Scientists, performers and other creative people took part in the ‘‘Making Theatre: The Art and Science of Lighting’’ event, during which participants learned more about the mix of art and science involved in lighting, and the effect of different approaches to lighting the same scene.
