Mixed fortunes at U17s

Basketball: The Otago girls bounced back from two firstup losses at the under17 national championships in Wellington yesterday.

After an 8277 loss against Manawatu on Wednesday night, the side beat Hawke’s Bay 6865 in its final pool match yesterday.

The boys yesterday had a 9989 overtime loss against Manawatu and, in their final pool match, a 9362 win over Taranaki.
