Pettitt quits Diamonds

Netball: The Australian Diamonds have lost a third player to retirement this week, as Susan Pettitt calls time on her international career.

The 34yearold goal shooter, who will end her club career at the end of the Super Netball season, brings down the curtain on a 71game international career which included the 2007 World Championship triumph and silver medals at three Commonwealth Games.

Earlier this week, Laura Geitz and Madi Robinson both announced their retirement from the Diamonds. — AAP
