Playcentre receives praise
Wakatipu Playcentre’s staff are over the moon about their latest Education Review Office report.
Formerly Frankton Playcentre, the parentled facility had been operating from a building at Remarkables Primary School for seven years.
Due to growth pressure on the school, it moved in to its new home in Remarkables Park last year.
The report praised its commitment to Maori.
‘‘They are creating an environment where all children, and in particular Maori children, can learn about and be proud of New Zealand’s bicultural heritage.’’
