Business — get a grip

-

HERE’S my views on the recently reported dip in business confidence.

All the recently reported drop in business confidence shows is the lack of capability in our countries’ boardrooms.

If a change of government results in our business ‘‘leaders’’ throwing their hands up in the air proclaiming ‘‘It’s all too hard, someone save us’’, then we have a problem.

This is the environment in which you are conducting business. Now get on with it, stop blaming others, stop whimpering and start conducting business.

No wonder most of them fail when they leave our insulated shores in search of expansion. Jay Conway

UNDER this current oneterm Labourled Coalition governance of New Zealand, New Zealand’s business confidence has gone from secondbest to secondworst in the latest OECD business confidence index.

This coalition, led via master puppeteer Mr Winston Peters, along with the idiotic ideology of the Dark Greens, is the most fiscally inept governance that New Zealand has seen since the unfortunate introduction of MMP.

Watch as the tail will continue to wag this sad coalition dog until those, who are privileged enough to be able to cast their vote, wake up to the need to think beyond their own selfimprovement and not the bigger picture of our future generations. Greg Glendining
