CONVICTION­S in the Queenstown District Court before Judge Geoff Rea on Tuesday.

Michael Marco Pauletich (31), truck driver, of Cromwell, drinkdrivi­ng while holding a zeroalcoho­l licence (fifth conviction), 240mg, Queenstown, August 4, fined $700, court costs $130 and disqualifi­ed three months.

Aran Shannon Briscoe (32), nurse, United States national, living in Albert Town, drinkdrivi­ng, 810mcg, Cromwell, September 21. A sentence of supervisio­n imposed in the Alexandra District Court on September 25 was cancelled and replaced with a $500 fine and court costs of $130.

Anthony McLellan (23), of Alexandra, assault, Alexandra, May 24, nine months’ supervisio­n while he undergoes alcohol and drug counsellin­g and completes a family violence programme.

Neil Ivan George RoltonStod­dart (28), labourer, of Omakau, male assaults female, Dunedin, January 23, six months’ community detention.

Anthony James Robertson (33), of Arrow Junction, drinkdrivi­ng, 446mcg, Lochnagar Dr, April 14. Sentenced on August 8, fined $400, court costs $130, disqualifi­ed for 28 days or until an alcohol interlock device is fitted.

Convicted in other courts

Jack Bodene Dillon (22), of Riverton, assault with intent to injure, February 3, Queenstown. Sentenced in the Invercargi­ll District Court on March 15 to six months’ supervisio­n, 120 hours’ community work, ordered to pay $500 reparation.

Quinton Troy Pascoe (26), of Southland, three charges of driving while disqualifi­ed, two charges of wilful damage, four charges of receiving property (less than $500), two charges of receiving property (more than $1000), failing to answer police bail, theft (less than $500). Sentenced in the Invercargi­ll District Court on September 23 to 23 months’ prison, disqualifi­ed from driving for 15 months. Taurus Henare Ratana (18), of Queenstown, assault, assault with intent to injure and resisting police, all in Queenstown on July 28. Sentenced in the Whanganui District Court on September 25 to 12 months’ supervisio­n and 100 hours’ community work.
