Dog squad tracks down teens

-

FOUR teenagers seen tampering with a car in Mosgiel have been apprehended by a police dog team.

Acting Inspector Craig Dinnissen, of Dunedin, said the young people, two male and two female, were reported interfering with the car in Argyle St about 4am on Wednesday.

They were located by patrol dog teams and taken to Dunedin Central Station, were they were dealt with by Youth Aid.

Also dealt with by police this week was a young woman, arrested at her Calton Hill home, where a routine warrant execution uncovered stolen property from burglaries in Cromwell and Dunedin since September.
