Armed offenders squad searches Timaru house
Members of the armed offenders squad executed a search warrant at a Grey Rd address in Timaru about 12.30pm yesterday. A police spokeswoman said several streets were cordoned off as part of the operation, which focused on the whereabouts of a single person and also involved a dog unit and fire appliances. The cordon was lifted when emergency services left about 1.30pm.
