Fred’s Fencing has your stock-handling needs covered

-

FRED DOHERTY sourced some steel stockyards for the local rodeo club about five years ago, and they proved so popular with the club members that he continued importing them on his own account and Fred’s Fencing was born.

The stockyards are a fantastic temporary or permanent option, being easy to assemble and extremely costeffective.

A small setup can take as little as 40 minutes to put together. They are freestanding, so there’s no need for posts, and they can be easily adapted to suit your requirements.

Fred has displayed the yards at a number of trade shows, including the past four South Island Field Days, and has had a great response.

He has sold yard setups to farmers, lifestylers, and horsey people all over New Zealand.

Clients love how easy to assemble they are and also how easy it is to change the shape or layout of a setup to fit a particular space.

Fred offers two weights of yard panels, and all products are now hotdipped galvanised.

He also has swing gates and sliding gates and a loading ramp is also available to complete the setup. All components can be purchased individually and he can assist with drawing up a plan to suit your needs and budget.

The panels are ideal for permanent and temporary cattleyards, runoff blocks, dairy-grazing blocks or lease blocks. The equestrian fraternity loves them also for round pens, permanent and temporary horseyards, and for temporary horseyards at events.

Fred also has security fence panels which can be used for chook runs, dogexercise areas, and offalhole surrounds, as well as the more usual use around construction or building sites.
