Cameron George (20), of Dunedin, drinkdrivi­ng (pulled over by police while driving Toyota, said she was driving home), 600mcg, 12.55am, December 1, Princes St, fined $550, court costs $130, six months’ disqualifi­cation.

Brent Nicholas Slocombe (37), plumber, of Dunedin, drinkdrivi­ng, 99mg (random breath test; told judge ‘‘no excuse, my mistake’’), Prince Albert Rd, about 1.50am, November 24, fined $750, court costs $130, medical and analyst’s expenses $298.98, disqualifi­ed six months. Slocombe had one previous drinkdrive conviction, in 2001.

Lucy Alice Dunckley (29), of Dunedin, breaching community work, July 18, remaining hours cancelled, two months’ community detention (curfewed 7pm7am daily), court costs $130.

Mohammed Shario (25), freezing worker, of Balclutha, careless driving causing injury (drove with the victim in the front passenger seat, while taking moderate right bend veered over centre line, overcorrec­ted and lost control, hit dirt bank, vehicle rolled twice before coming to a rest, victim sustained a laceration to her finger, Shario said he was distracted by manually changing the speed restrictor on his dashboard, he was issued with a $100 infringeme­nt notice because he was driving on a learner licence; defendant told the court he ‘‘pretty much made a mistake’’; just going to move on from it), 3pm, July 31, Clinton Highway, fined $500, court costs $130, six months’ disqualifi­cation.
