’Serious incident’

Nelson: Police and paramedics were at the scene of what authorities say was a ‘‘serious incident’’ in Motueka last night.

A police spokeswoman said officers responded to an incident in the town in the Tasman District at 8.30pm.

The nature of the callout was not yet confirmed and it was not known whether anyone had been injured. — NZME
