WAIAREKA

Numbers yarded at this week’s Waiareka stock sale were back on recent weeks, particular­ly ewes.

Prime lamb prices eased considerab­ly, as processors dropped schedules, and prime ewe values held firm.

There was a good line up of store lambs, which met reasonable demand. Only a small number of cattle were yarded and prices were on par with the last couple of weeks.

OMARAMA

Confidence showed through at this year’s Omarama lamb sale and a very large gallery of buyers attended. Prices were buoyant and values were well up on last year’s sale.
