WAIAREKA
Numbers yarded at this week’s Waiareka stock sale were back on recent weeks, particularly ewes.
Prime lamb prices eased considerably, as processors dropped schedules, and prime ewe values held firm.
There was a good line up of store lambs, which met reasonable demand. Only a small number of cattle were yarded and prices were on par with the last couple of weeks.

OMARAMA
Confidence showed through at this year’s Omarama lamb sale and a very large gallery of buyers attended. Prices were buoyant and values were well up on last year’s sale.
