Ryan Alan Clark (27), drinkdrivi­ng, 521mcg (stopped by police because not wearing seatbelt), Kaikorai Valley Rd, about 8.20pm, January 18, fined $550, court costs $130, disqualifi­ed six months.

Matthew Peter Hall (24), employed, of Cromwell, unlawfully hunting on Department of Conservati­on land, Deep Stream, about 11.45am, April 8 last year, fined $300, court costs $130; related charge of speaking threatenin­gly, emotional harm reparation $400. Hall accepted a sentencing indication and pleaded guilty; a male also facing an unlawful hunting charge from the same incident was dealt with earlier.
