The NZ Institute of Architects hosts a pecha kucha event at Toitu Otago Settlers Museum at 6pm today as part of its annual festival of architectu­re. In Queenstown, leading Australian architect Kerstin Thompson will talk on ‘‘Placemakin­g in the landscape’’ at Heritage Queenstown at 6.30pm. Tomorrow there is a tour of three University of Otago buildings. All events are free but registrati­ons are requested for the pecha kucha event and the university tour.
