Motives of BLM protesters must be questioned

-

WHEN I first heard the Black Lives Matter terminology several weeks ago, I thought the statement was an oxymoron.

Of course black lives matter. All lives matter.

Surely, if centuries of progress has taught humanity anything, it should be that no race, creed, skin colour or gender is superior to another, and in a decent, civilised society, all peoples should be treated equally and have equal opportunity and rights.

The women founders of the Black Lives Matter movement have claimed to be ‘‘trained Marxists’’.

It begs the question of all those who marched the streets or bent the knee under the Black Lives Matter banner: are you marching or bending in support of the ideologies of Karl Marx or for freedom from oppression? They are opposites.
