Quake off Tonga
Washington: A magnitude 6.4 quake struck off Tonga in the Pacific Ocean yesterday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The quake, downgraded from an initially reported magnitude 6.7, struck at a depth of 35km about 210km northeast of the country’s capital, Nuku’alofa, where residents said it caused buildings to sway. — Agencies
