Brexit talks extended

London: Boris Johnson and Ursula von der Leyen have approved a further month of Brexit negotiations after agreeing enough progress has been made to justify a last push to reach a deal on trade and security.

The European Union’s chief negotiator, Michel Barnier, will travel to London this week for talks with his British counterpart, David Frost, and the two sides will then hold followup talks in Brussels the week after.
