Benee plays to soldout town hall
Aucklandbased pop singer Benee performs in front of a crowd of about 2000 at a soldout Dunedin Town Hall on Saturday night.
The fourtime NZ Music Awards winner, whose real name is Stella Rose Bennett, is in the middle of a fourstop New Zealand tour that started in Christchurch and wraps up with three dates in Wellington this week and two in Auckland next week.
The 20yearold singer’s 2019 single Supalonely gained international popularity following its success on videosharing platform TikTok.
Also last year she won NZ Music Awards for single of the year, best solo artist, breakthrough artist of the year and best pop artist.
