Meth operations targeted
Hamilton: A threemonth police operation targeting organised crime in Waikato is expected to slow the availability of methamphetamine in the region.
Police said 40 search warrants had netted 100 people, 1kg of meth and 30 illegal firearms.
The Operation Typhoon investigation team and the police asset recovery unit also seized $350,000 in cash, motor vehicles and motorcycles.
Those arrested have all made initial appearances in the Hamilton District Court. — RNZ
