More May killing protests
Minneapolis: Protesters took to the streets for a second evening yesterday to decry the release of Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis police officer charged with killing George Floyd on May 25.
The rallies in St Paul and Minneapolis came on the heels of a march the night before in south Minneapolis that ended in 51 arrests near the Police Department’s Fifth Precinct headquarters.
Reports last night said noone had been arrested and most participants were wearing masks and appeared to be practising social distancing.— TCA
