Vacancies on Alliance board

NOMINATIONS have opened to fill two vacancies on the board of the Alliance Group.

Russell Drummond and Dawn Sangster are retiring by rotation and both are standing for reelection. The election result will be announced in Invercargill on December 17 at the cooperative’s annual meeting of shareholders.

No election is required in the South Island for Farmlands’ director elections this year as chairman Rob Hewett, who retired by rotation, was reelected unopposed. Three North

Island candidates are vying for two seats.
