Maiden win for Kokrak

Golf: American Jason Kokrak fired off eight birdies in a flawless final round for his first PGA Tour victory at the CJ Cup in Las Vegas yesterday, clinching his maiden title on the 233rd try.

The 35yearold carded an 8under 64.

Fourtime PGA Tour winner Xander Schauffele carded a nearflawless 66 with a single bogey on 16 to finish second. — Reuters
