Let’s all pitch in to help the SPCA do its work
THE SPCA is an organisation that’s spread around New Zealand. All of them work independently but have the same job: to nurture and care for the animals in need.
The SPCA assists in the prevention of cruelty to animal cases, rehabilitation, and finding homes for mistreated and unwanted animals, and helps find new loving homes for them.
You can donate items to help out the animals — toys to keep them busy and physically healthy, towels and blankets to keep them warm and fuzzy while they wait for their new homes/ owners.
You can fundraise at school or work, and donate the money earned to the SPCA to help with animals in need. Bake sales and mufti days are a great way to raise money at school.
The Dunedin SPCA team tries its best to nurture the animals there and find their forever home, and your help and kind donations would help out the SPCA greatly.
