It was in 1937 that I had my first rewarding taste of school education in that classroom under the charge of benevolent Miss Elder.

Dunedin, and Arthur Street School, very much deserve to have this magnificent old building of classroom instruction remain and maintained on its original site. Clarke Isaacs
