‘Human chain’ continues
FrenchSwiss street artist Saype takes a break on the artwork he has painted on a barge in the Golden Horn in Istanbul, Turkey.
The work is the eighth in his threeyear ‘‘Beyond Walls’’ project, in which he is painting largescale linked hands in 20 cities to create a ‘‘human chain’’ across the world, to encourage humanity and equality.
His previous stops were Paris, Andorra, Geneva, Berlin, Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, Yamoussoukro in Cote D’Ivoire, and Turin. Right: An aerial view shows the work in context.
