Recognition for Otago pair

Basketball: Two Otago players made tournament teams following national agegrade tournaments over Labour Weekend.

Laura Ring has made the under15 team, after proving a key player in helping the team to third in Hamilton.

Abby Harris has made the under17 tournament team after helping Otago to fourth in Christchurch.

In the boys competitions, the under15 Otago team finished eighth, while the under17 North Otago team finished outside the top eight after a sixpoint loss to Auckland in its pool. for longer but decided a shortterm deal was the best option due to the uncertainties brought by the Covid19 pandemic.
