Windowsmashing charge

A man faces charges after charging into and smashing a window in a block of flats in Dunedin.

About 3am yesterday a 21yearold man was located ‘‘after he decided to charge and break’’ a window, Acting Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond said.

The man broke the window and then loitered in the vicinity in Corrie St, Acting Snr Sgt Bond said.

He was charged with wilful damage and being unlawfully on property and will appear in the Dunedin District Court tomorrow.
