Signal Hill plan review
THE Dunedin City Council is reviewing whether the Signal Hill reserve should be improved, changed or managed differently.
Council staff have called for feedback from city residents on its plans to review the Signal Hill Recreation Reserve Management Plan and its General Policies Management Plan.
The Signal Hill plan sets out policies for management and use of the reserve and the general policies plan relates to rules and regulations for all Dunedin reserves.
Both are under review. Council parks and recreation planner Ashley Reid said staff wanted to know residents’ opinions on the existing plans, what worked well, what could be improved and updated and what could be taken out.
Feedback, which closes on December 8, would guide new draft plans.
