NZC turns loss into profit

Cricket: New Zealand Cricket has turned a projected deficit of $2.4 million into a surplus of $1.5 million.

The national body reported the profit at its annual meeting on Tuesday. It put the turnaround down to a reduction in activity due to Covid19, and widespread operational savings across the organisation.

Chief executive David White said NZC was budgeting for a $3.5 million loss for the 202021 financial year.
