Two killed in crashes

Wellington: One person has died after a crash in the Wellington suburb of Kilbirnie yesterday.

Emergency services were alerted to the crash, in which a car struck a tree, at 5.47am.

A second person had minor injuries. On Saturday, one person died after a twocar crash on State Highway 2, River Rd, in the suburb of Elderslea in Upper Hutt. — The New Zealand Herald
