Drury’s big buy
Queenstown: Business news website BusinessDesk reports tech entrepreneur Rod Drury has bought Queenstown’s Gantley’s property, at Arthurs Point, for $2.65 million.
The 7046sq m property, zoned for commercial, tourism, residential or visitor accommodation, includes an historic building which houses Cargo at Gantley’s Pub.
Mountain Scene recently reported Mr Drury — cofounder of online accounting software company Xero — had become a benefactor of the Queenstown Mountain Bike Club.
Hot Rod trail on Coronet Peak , named in his honour, was officially opened early this month.
