Truck crash lethal for 17

Managua: An ageing passenger truck has plunged off a road in a mountainous part of northeastern Nicaragua, killing at least 17 people and injuring 25 more.

The accident occurred yesterday in an area called Ocote Tuma, 260km northeast of Managua in a region devastated by the recent passage of Hurricanes Eta and Iota.
