R&B heartthrob August Alsina is coming to Auckland to play his first ever NZ show and we have a double pass up for grabs for you to join in the fun.

Born and bred in New Orleans August Alsina is following in the footsteps of that city’s legends who have paved the way. After a set of personal setbacks and a series of YouTube covers that generated millions of views, he signed with infamous Def Jam Records in 2007 and released 2014’s Testimony which debuted at Number Two on the Billboard 200.

The album features the singles I Luv This S**t feat. Trinidad James, and No Love feat Nicki Minaj, as well as Ghetto, Numb, Make It Home and Kissin’ On My Tattoos. The same year Alsina was named best New Artist at the BET Awards. His sophomore release This Thing Called Life, also debuted in the Top 20 and featured the hit Hip Hop as well as Why I Do It feat. Lil Wayne, Been Around The World feat Chris Brown, Dreamer and Song Cry.
