Plume’s stylishly stunning summer dishes delight
Glorious sun glistens at Plume, the Vineyard Restaurant in Matakana. Their summer menu will be released in early November with the team already easing new dishes onto the menu.
Restaurant manager Farida Cooper says the focus is on lighter meals, perfect for summer dining.
The new menu embraces the best of summer dishes are healthier and fresher on the palate. Everything is made from scratch using only the best produce and ingredients, and beautifully presented. Highlights introduced so far include Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake with prawn tempura), succulent pork loin and glorious desserts like the raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake, dark chocolate pave, and passionfruit torte.
The new six course summer tasting menu includes beef carpaccio with Tuscan mayonnaise, pork tenderloin and squid ink seafood rotolo.
This year Plume has also created a delicious Christmas menu - a three course meal with a choice of two mains can be viewed on the Plume website. Another exciting addition is the Runner Duck ‘‘Joy’’ (Methode Traditional) coming out soon in time for summer - guaranteed to be a glass of good cheer.

The beautifully decorated Plume gift vouchers are perfect Christmas gifts. Plume staff do everything, even sending the voucher to the recipient. Vouchers can be used for birthdays, anniversaries, or to purchase Runner Duck wines.
Plume Restaurant and Plume Cafe will be closed on December 25 and 26, and January 1 so staff can be with their families.
