CABINET RESHUFFLE
On Monday Prime Minister Bill English will reshuffle his Cabinet, including replacements for Foreign Minister Murray McCully and Education Minister Hekia Parata who both step down soon and will attend their final cabinet meeting on May 1. English said if there were any new ministers they would be sworn in on May 2. He described any changes as ‘‘a pretty narrowly-focused reshuffle’’. Nikki Kaye has been the clear front runner to take over education, but the name of the next foreign minister is less certain.
