Annual island concert to be a brassy affair

-

With and it’s rare native wildlife and staggering views of the Hauraki Gulf, Tiritiri Matangi is a stunning music venue. The annual island concert is planned for March 3 and will feature a group of young musicians from the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra Young Achievers. The Inspire Partnership Programme is a collaboration between Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO) and the University of Auckland’s School of Music, and helps young musicians aged between 16-25 on their musical pathway, including encouraging them to perform live.
