Trees have to go

-

Bay of Plenty Regional Council contractors are removing problematic trees in the upper Paradise Valley near Rotorua. There is a risk they could fall into the Ngongotaha¯ Stream, potentially creating debris dams, downstream flooding or river bank erosion. The contractor employed two new workers to do the job, funded by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
